I recently learned that BookWyrm is licensed under the Anti Capitalist Software License. Like the Peer Production License (based on CC NC), this is a Source Available license that limits free use to “individuals and organizations that do not operate by capitalist principles”.

AFAICT this license doesn’t forbid us from community-hosting BookWyrm as a not-for-profit. But it does pose the question of whether its something we want to promote. I would be inclined to replace it with NeoDB, which appears to incorporate many of the same features and more, and is under AGPL.
