Turns out that Pol.is uses a bunch of LLM Models that need to be integrated somehow.

That immediately makes me suspicious of it and less interested in using it : ( I guess I ought to look into which LLMs they use, under which licenses (for weights and data as well as code), and how they’re used (on-server or via API calls to a proprietary service). But …

This makes me wonder what other software can be used to set up democratic deliberation services online. For example, could we host a service using Loomio, LiquidFeedback, Your Priorities, or Adhocracy without any proprietary/ Trained MOLE dependencies? What are the pros and cons of these; features, UX, ease of hosting, etc?
