Looking for suggestions for desktop PC brand that makes easy to run @Linux desktop AND that is for sale in New Zealand (things like DELL, HP, Lenovo, etc) with NZ support/warranty.
I post a reply about the LinuxPreloaded.com list, which is a good generic resource, but at least one of the companies listed here (Framework) wasn’t shipping to Aotearoa yet last I checked. I’ve ordered stuff from ThinkPenguin and they were happy to ship it here, so the laptop and desktop they sell are options. But apparently the OP is getting their new device paid for by their workplace, who have a policy of not paying for stuff that isn’t sold and supporter here. Maybe it’s time to gather a group to do the research and put together an official guide on this?
