Tech reporters in Aotearoa

Let’s make a list of the journalists who regularly report on the tech beat for NZ media, so people educating the public about tech rights issues can engage with them and keep them informed.

Peter Griffin: According to his hompage, Griffin trained in journalism at AUT in the late 1990s and creative writing at Victoria in the mid-noughties. Training in “Leadership Development” at Melbourne Business School in 2016 followed his 2012 Fulbright Harkness Fellowship (which “seek to reinforce New Zealand-United States’ links by enabling actual or potential leaders and opinion formers in New Zealand to benefit from new ideas, practices and new contacts in the US”). Regularly called on for tech commentary by RNZ, The Listener, BusinessDesk, NewstalkZB, Computerworld, PC World, Idealog, The Spinoff, ABC Radio, TVNZ, Newshub, NZME, National Business Review, etc.
